The first season of Marcella was excellent, the second season was just weird. I would put Broadchurch on this list instead.
I would be pushed to list 10 US shows.
If you are for dark and slow burn British crime drama: add Happy Valley, Unforgotten, Shetland, Annika, The Fall, and The Responder
Managed to make it 15 minutes into Dept. Q and had to turn it off. Just awful!
Adolescence a must-see. Looking forward to seeing Black Dove and Marcela. British thrillers do tend to be raw, and also grim, which makes them addictive.
